Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is a Research & Consulting engineering company that has been working since early '90 on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Eco-Balance, Environmental Engineering and Management, Green Marketing, Environmental Communication&Reporting, environmental sustainability, green procurement (GPP) and carbon management/emission trading (Kyoto Protocol).
LCE is the Italian partner of Boustead Consulting Ltd., group leader in LCA research & consulting and industrial environmental sustainability worldwide, based in London (UK), and of Granta Design Ltd., group leader in material selection research & consulting and eco-design worldwide, born in collaboration with Prof. M. Ashby (University of Cambridge) and based in Cambridge (UK). From 2006 LCE is a PROPLAST Consortium member. LCE usualy provides services for private companies (see projects-activities-partners for more details) and public authorities such as the Italian National Agency for the Protection of the Environment and Technical Services (APAT) and the European Commission (DG Environment).
About us
Our working group is composed by highly qualified engineers, architects, biologists, sustainable design specialists and environmental experts.
We pay particular attention to the education of our collaborators and, thanks to the application of highly competent and developed instruments, the studio can devote most of the resources to manage the useful information for research project.
